When you think about your birth journey, what stirs the "soft animal of your body?" We believe an important part of birth preparation and integration is reconnecting with the wild stirrings and longings of the Soul. For it is from deep within that a person will birth not only their child, but themself as a Parent/Mother. Like the mother bear, gathering and feeding before her descent into hibernation during which she births her babies, a pregnant person gathers and feeds on what information and items they imagine are needed for the journey into birth, and then surrenders and gropes in the darkness of labor making discoveries only she can make. And like the mother bear emerging from her cave when the time is right, sniffing the air, a newborn parent makes the return journey with slow care and awareness, forever changed.

We are Mentors to you on this journey. We can help you sort the bare bones truths from the clutter, help initiate you and your partner into this rite of passage that is pregnancy and birth, and celebrate with you the beauty of mindfully birthing in awareness- with or without medical support. Whether you roar your baby out like a fierce mama bear, breathe her through like an inspired spring breeze, or something in between, or both, we honor your unique path. The path you have walked all of your life, with bare feet, bringing you to this moment. We learn from and with you every step of the way, whether ambling, loping, or charging straight toward the moment where you meet yourself and your baby and beyond.
